Hiking in the Myrkdalen region

Date: Thursday 15 jun 2017 - Sunday 15 Oct 2017 Show map

There are many short family-friendly hikes and scenic day trips in the Myrkdalen region.

Myrkdalen in summer offers a broad range of hiking trails straight from your door, ranging from easy trails to more demanding multiday trips. Finnbunuten, which offers panoramic views over Myrkdalen is a highlight in the area. On clear days you can see all the way to Hardangerjøkulen, Jostedalsbreen and Folgefonna glaciers!

Several of the T-marked trails are quite long and run through high mountain terrain. Make sure you bring equipment for poor weather, a map of the area and a compass. At Myrkdalen Hotel hotel you can buy maps and a hiking guide for the Voss and Myrkdalen area.
